THE LAST POPE
Introduction
My name is James Tierney. I was born in 1963, two days after the assassination of JFK. My parents raised me to be Catholic, but I never entirely accepted that belief because even to my undisciplined mind, the whole institution appeared corrupt. Every time I went to Mass, it felt carnal, too corrupt to be an institution of a righteous God. As a child, I knew God was real and had Faith in the Bible as His word, but when I came of age, I had too many unanswered questions. The only thing I knew for sure was that I didn't want to be a Catholic, so I disputed my Catholic Confirmation and became an undisciplined seeker of truth.
In 1994, I performed with my rock band in front of thousands when I had a profound spiritual experience. I felt a strong calling from God to leave behind my current way of life. That night, in front of the audience, I heard a message from God urging me to stop resisting and to go home to "fast and pray for seven days." Following His instructions, I secluded myself in my apartment and began to read the scriptures prayerfully. I soon found the strength to complete the week-long fast as long as I stayed focused on the word of God. By approaching the scriptures with complete trust and an open mind, I gained a deep understanding and found answers to my questions. This experience gave me a sense of intimacy with God I had not felt since childhood. As I delved into the Old Testament, I better understood God's role in creation and the power of faith.
I eagerly began reading the New Testament on the seventh day of the fast. In Matthew 12, verse 8, I read, "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day," at that moment, a soft heavenly light surrounded those words and filled my thoughts. I felt the Holy Spirit connecting neural pathways in my mind and heard a still, small voice saying, "This will lead you home to me." From that day forward, I could understand things I had never known. This experience happened on a Saturday, and with the same earnestness as looking for a long-lost family, I immediately sought to find a Sabbath-keeping church.
While searching through the Yellow Pages, I felt compelled to call the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. I believed that God was guiding me. Without human intervention, the Holy Spirit led me to observe the Seventh-Day Sabbath on the seventh day of fasting and join the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
I shared this experience with a brother at my new SDA church fellowship one week later. He asked, "Have you read any of E.G. White's writings yet?" I said, "No." Then, I was amazed when he showed me Ellen White's dream in the book "Christian Experience and Teachings."
"Jesus raised the cover of the ark, and I beheld the tables of stone on which were written the Ten Commandments. I was amazed as I saw the fourth commandment in the very center of the ten precepts with a soft halo of light encircling it. Said the angel, "It is the only one of the ten which defines the living God who created the heavens and the earth and all things that are therein." {CET 85.5}
At the end of my seven-day fast, I had a profound experience seeing the words "Lord of the Sabbath" surrounded by light. This vision was similar to one Ellen White described, which confirmed that my vision was not just a personal interpretation of scripture. It showed me that others are on the same doctrinal path, led by the same Spirit. This epiphany has been a recurring pattern in my faith journey and a powerful tool for communicating with God.
He establishes communication through the Spirit and then proves it through scripture and the Testimonies. He never contradicts Himself. Whenever I receive a vision or dream, I search the Testimonies and find she used those images over a century ago. Then, I can see what God was trying to convey in His message. God uses this pattern to redirect my thoughts to understand what He wants my attention on. Then, after the redirect, He used other methods to increase my understanding of those issues.
This previously traveled path has been shown to me to be "the path high and lifted up" of the pioneers, shown to Ellen White in her first vision. She saw the 144,000 on this path heading to the New Jerusalem (later shown to me in another set of visions God gave me about the Red Heifer).
A few days after the fast, I started experiencing holy dreams before my first Sabbath at the SDA church or reading any testimonies.
In my first inspired dream, I experienced my entire spiritual journey from start to finish. I was on a train traveling south toward the edge of a vast abyss, on the brink of falling into perdition. I disembarked from the starboard side of the train while it was still in motion and walked west until only a sliver of the sun was visible on the horizon. At the end of the journey, I walked through a wheat field, hearing, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few," before waking up.
(There was much more to this dream that has all come true, and although I do share this dream in its entirety upon request, this is all that is needed here. Everything in the dream has or is coming true.)
After hearing this dream the following Sabbath, my Seventh-day Adventist brother shared a dream similar to mine from Early Writings. In the dream, a train was heading "with lightning speed to perdition." Through the Spirit of Prophecy, I began to understand that getting off the train in the dream symbolized my conversion and letting go of false doctrines orchestrated by Satan to deceive the masses. These false doctrines included beliefs in Sunday as the Lord's Day and the idea of men becoming ghosts when they die. This dream from Mrs. White, contained in a supplemental chapter of Early Writings, discusses demons appearing as the ghosts of dead men.
The similarities between my dream and her vision proved God had given me the dream. Later, God drew my attention to analyze Ellen White's dream in detail to establish the inspiration He gave me to others. Years later, this first dream connected so much to what God has shown me since then.
The same Spirit that led me to observe the Sabbath also led me to the writings of Ellen White, which perfectly harmonized with what God had taught me during my week-long fast. The church that observed the weekly Seventh-day Sabbath, just as God told me to do, also had a prophet with visions and dreams similar to those God gave me. This experience taught me to recognize the voice of God, which cannot be imitated, because He consistently upholds scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy. He always corrects me, leading me to repentance, empowering me to accept forgiveness, and enabling me to overcome sin in the light of His blessing.
Before I fasted, I was struggling with alcoholism. However, after seeking repentance, I found the strength to overcome my addiction through my faith in God. His words gave me comfort and empowered me to stay away from alcohol. This experience deepened my faith, and I found peace in the Bible. I discovered even more spiritual treasures as I continued to believe and follow God's word. God blessed me with visions, dreams, and precise answers to my prayers, strengthening my faith even more.
…Twelve Years (and many visions and dreams) Later
While in conversation with my friend Michelle, we prayed for light from God on the prophecy of the seven heads of the Beast of Rev 17. We discussed every concept we had heard on this issue and how no one seemed to agree. Then, in a perfectly inspired manner, she said that some people believe "these seven kings of Rev 17 are the seven last popes," those words were written like lightning by the Holy Spirit in front of me in vision. A 'finding the missing piece to the puzzle' type of discovery connected many thoughts and was beyond argument. God redirected me once again.
I was praying for more understanding about the meaning of the 'eighth' in verse 11 when I heard His voice saying, "The eighth is Satan appearing as an angel of light." This message ties many other prophecies revealed to me in the 12 years prior together. At that moment, God reminded me of Mrs. White's Early Writings vision of a train heading to perdition, where the angel revealed that the conductor of the train, a "stately fair person that the whole world looks up to in reverence," was "Satan appearing as an angel of light," and this ties in with the prophecy of Revelation 17 and my dream, as the eighth king leads the world to 'perdition.' The specific verse is Revelation 17:11, which says, "...and the beast that was, and is not, he also is eighth, and out of the seven (hills) he is, and to PERDITION he doth go away."
"I saw the rapidity with which this delusion was spreading. A train of cars was shown to me, going with the speed of lightning. The angel bade me look carefully. I fixed my eyes upon the train. It seemed that the whole world was on board, that there could not be one left. Said the angel, "They are binding in bundles ready to burn." Then he showed me the conductor, who appeared like a stately, fair person, whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced. I was perplexed and asked my attending angel who it was. He said, "It is Satan. He is the conductor in the form of an angel of light. He has taken the world captive. They are given over to strong delusions, to believe a lie, that they may be damned. This agent, the next highest in order to him, is the engineer, and other of his agents are employed in different offices as he may need them, and they are all going with lightning speed to perdition." EW 88.2
The primary connection between these prophecies and my dream was in the image of the train heading to the end of the world, the abyss, or 'perdition.' My dream relates to the Early Writings' prophecy of the train heading with lightning speed to "perdition," which connects to the eighth king of Revelation 17:11, who goes to "perdition." All of this came to my mind in a fraction of a second. It was a complete thought. I love it when He redirects my mind like this. Since then, God has often illustrated through evidence that He led me to this discovery.
"The "man of sin," which is also styled the "mystery of iniquity," the "son of perdition," and "that wicked," represents the Papacy..." {Great Controversy 88 356.2}
The most challenging aspect of understanding the fulfillment of these prophecies is that Satan, appearing as an angel of light, presents himself as a 'stately fair person that the whole world looks up to in reverence.' It is crucial to remember this while seeking understanding on this subject, as it is what God has shown me.
Lessons learned
I have made mistakes in interpreting all the variables of this prophecy, but I have never claimed that God gave any of those errors.
Here is the primary example of the lessons I learned by rushing ahead of the Spirit.
After receiving a vision about the seven heads mentioned in Revelation 17, I prayed to understand the meaning of verse 10, which refers to the seventh king (Pope Benedict XVI) remaining "a little while." I prayed for years to comprehend this, but God remained silent while providing me with many other signs and guidance to affirm what He had already revealed. Despite this, I still tried to reach my own conclusion on this matter.
In my studies, I found a reference in the book of John where Jesus mentioned being with the apostles for a "little while." I assumed that this period could correspond to Rev 17:10, suggesting that Benedict XVI would die a 'little while' after his election, possibly within 3 1/2 years. However, I want to clarify that I never claimed God inspired this interpretation and continuously reiterated this fact in every post and discussion. When Benedict XVI did not pass away within the expected timeframe, individuals from the SDA church, including Pastors Bohr, Meyers, Hargreaves, and others, began labeling me as a false prophet.
Then, when Benedict XVI retired in 2013, the Holy Spirit immediately responded and told me, "This is the answer to your prayers." Benedict's retirement fulfilled the prophecy to "REMAIN a little while" AFTER his reign. Benedict XVI claimed God gave him a "mystical experience" (as reported in Time Magazine 2013), which led him to announce his retirement on the anniversary of the Lateran Treaty on April 11. This day is considered 'Independence Day' by Catholics, and it was also the day when lightning struck St. Peter's twice, which I saw as a sign connected to the vision I had received and shared with others. However, some people are unable to see beyond the fact that I had previously suggested that he might have died years earlier, and as a result, they refuse to listen.
If their interpretation of this prophecy is incorrect, they would be responsible for falsely interpreting it. They would meet the biblical standard of being a false prophet because they are not teaching what God has revealed. As a teacher, you cannot make unequivocal statements without being held accountable if your teaching is wrong. I did not unequivocally teach this erroneous aspect of my understanding; it was clear that God was silent on this subject, but this is what I thought would happen. I can prove this.
I regret writing what I did because I spoke without God's guidance. I've learned a valuable lesson from this mistake. I've realized that many current SDA Pastors have also taught things without receiving clear direction from God. The Holy Spirit does not lead us into error. Instead of admitting that they lack clarity on certain teachings, they misinterpret the Testimonies and make their assumptions. Their criticism of me shows their double standards. They quickly judged me for my mistake without realizing they were guilty of the same thing. I believe that God will reveal the truth about this.
The pioneers' writings and testimonies provide many clues to understanding this prophecy. However, contemporary SDA evangelists and pastors overlook these quotes because they contradict their favored explanation. Their overlooking of the evidence makes them guilty of what they accused me of. Why are they unwilling to even test their own beliefs here?
God uses me as a lightning rod for issues like this. The way Jesus handled this was excellent. I am in awe. (Father, please bless this message in the name of Jesus)

One of the most significant pieces of evidence I received was when I explored this topic through the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Pioneers, including Ellen White, to understand their beliefs.
If you read the entire article by Uriah Smith quoted below, you would see how they denounced the views that our pastors and seminaries teach today.
The pioneers fully believed that their teaching on this subject was part of the three angels' messages, as illustrated by The Spirit.

“In advocating the view that the seven heads of the dragon of Revelation 12... represent seven forms of government that have existed in the Roman Empire, the writer deems it necessary to remind the reader that he is not dealing in novelties. He is not introducing a new view to appeal to the curiosity of the reader, and to cater to the not always healthy excitement of pursuing a line of thought because it is strange. But the view which will be advocated in this paper is one which has characterized the Adventist movement from the beginning, through the first, second, and third (angels) messages, to the present time, and is only beginning within a few years to be called in question. Nor can the view be said to be peculiar to Adventists in its historical aspect, - a scheme devised by them to meet their peculiar views of prophecy, -for scholars declared before the Adventist movement began, that Rome had presented to the world, as a unique and marvelous feature of history, seven distinct forms of government. All that the Adventists did, was to say, as the most natural thing in the world, that if Rome did have seven forms of government, the seven heads of the dragon, which was a symbol of Rome, must be designed to represent that fact… one of the earliest Protestant commentators, Osiander, as early as 1511, names the whole seven as we have them; namely, Kings, Consuls, Decemvirs, Dictators, Triumvirs, Emperors, and Popes, as the forms of Roman government represented by the seven heads of the dragon of Revelation 12... God has convinced me that anything supported by the Holy Spirit in the original proclamation of the Three Angels Messages, which was not directly contradicted and corrected by God through the Testimonies after the Great Disappointment, should be embraced as part of our firm foundation. Who gave today's pastors the authority to contradict this teaching? Will the Loud Cry repeat of the Three Angels Messages include only some of what the original message included? If not, then who gets to decide? Does anyone think today's pastors have a more significant measure of the Spirit?
It is vital to recognize that the pioneers unanimously believed that the seven heads of the Dragon beast of Revelation 12 symbolized the seven distinct forms of government established by Rome. The connection of this seven-headed prophecy to other empires or kingdoms, as most contemporary SDA Pastors have done, lacks substantial evidence and has led to misguided speculation. Despite some pastors making such claims, it is essential to emphasize that these heads are not from Babylon, Assyria, or any other empire but ROME. They rushed ahead of the Spirit, and millions of SDAs are utterly ignorant of this message.
A quote from Selected Messages and many others in Mrs. White's writings indicates that the Midnight Cry message, given to the Pioneers in 1844, was shared with specific individuals whom God had "moved upon by His Holy Spirit to explain" the Three Angels Message. In her first vision, God showed her that those who embrace the Pioneers' experience demonstrate that they are on the right path and that light would guide them to discover more truth in the future. I have surveyed thousands of SDAs, and it is a crime that not one of them knew that this was the belief of the Pioneers.
Concerning contemporary teaching, Uriah Smith said,
"No prophecy can be found dealing with subjects in that way: introducing new symbols to represent old governments which had had their day and passed away, never again to appear among men. What conceivable reason could there be for prophecy thus to deal with them? Prophecy relates to the future from when it is given, not to the past. It only goes back far enough into the past to show the grounds for the future events it predicts and identify the symbols it introduces. We have an illustration of this in Rev. 12:1, 2. And just as soon as a nation has performed its part and passed away, it is dropped out of the chain of events, and the prophecy goes on with the future." ['7 HEADS' p. 5 Para. 2].
The seventh head of the Dragon Beast of Revelation 12 is Papal Rome. Revelation 13 REPEATS AND ENLARGES this head.
The Midnight Cry message shall be repeated.
This Selected Messages quote, and many others in Mrs. White's writings, show that the Midnight Cry message, given to the Pioneers in 1844, was presented to select people whom God had "By His Holy Spirit, moved upon to explain" the Three Angels Message. In her first vision, God showed her that those who, by embracing the Pioneers' experience, prove that they are on the right path and that light would illuminate their future to find more truth.
William Miller and the faithful who listened to the Spirit of God exhibited the faith needed by God to proclaim the Midnight Cry. God gave them clear messages to explain His word. They heard His voice and faithfully presented the message to the world. This movement started the Adventist end-time message and the SDA Church.
So, if the pioneers who heard His voice were inspired to write under this influence, that writing was inspired directly by God, who led them through the experience.
The understanding of the Pioneers could have been better on other points. Many doctrines still needed to be identified and refined by visions and dreams given to His servant, Ellen White; however, early in the Millerite movement, Ellen White was not the first or only person to hear the Holy Spirit speak. William Miller, Hiram Edson, Josiah Litch, Uriah Smith, Jones, and Waggoner, among others, are directly mentioned in the Testimonies to have, at times, been inspired directly by God to testify on the correct interpretation of prophecies and doctrine.
Who, in the modern leadership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, would dare contradict what those inspired authors spoke under inspiration? If they claimed that God talked to them and the Testimonies witnessed these things, then as Seventh-day Adventists, we should be in line with that specific teaching because God's promises are eternal for those who love Him. God never contradicts Himself because He cannot lie! Understanding this is the path that is high and lifted.
They later argued among themselves, proving they had yet to receive enlightenment on those subjects. However, when the entire congregation united on any topic in present truth, the Holy Spirit empowered that message.
Many modern SDA pastors and evangelists directly contradict several inspired comments in the Testimonies and the Millerite Movement, but none as much as the meaning of the seven heads on the seven-headed, ten-horned Beast in Revelation 17, which symbolizes the Revived Papal Roman Empire.
When we come across a statement in the writings of the pioneers that unequivocally states that the Holy Spirit inspired them to proclaim a specific message, the angels testify this to be true. No SDA Pastor should attempt to alter that message. If we have a directly inspired statement in the writings of the pioneers, supported by a quote in the testimonies endorsing that early teaching, then it should not be debated.
Today's pastors often twist the present truth, rejecting direct support from the Testimonies, leading to blasphemy and attacking the messenger.
Elder Uriah Smith wrote that during the Midnight Cry, all of the devoted pioneers who experienced the Great Disappointment believed that the seven heads of the Roman Beast represented the seven distinct forms of government within the Roman Empire. Will the repeat of the Three Angels' Messages be different from the first?
They all believed, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and following the path of the Protestant reformers, that the seven heads of the Roman Beast were intended to represent the fact that Rome had the curious distinction of having seven different forms of government. Is there any room for debate? No.
The brethren, filled with the Holy Spirit, considered it natural to interpret the seven heads in a certain way. This quote warns that new pastors brought new teachings into the church, as predicted in Selected Messages Vol. 2, pg. 111. Today, the majority of Adventist pastors teach the same error that was creeping into the church back then. Selected Messages Vol. 2 condemns those who bring in false messages.
I am deeply concerned about the teaching errors propagated by some men in the SDA Church. They seem unwilling to recognize the significance of the path laid out by the pioneers. I believe that God has sent me to warn them, but unfortunately, they have not been open to listening. I fear the consequences of their ignorance, as they miss out on essential truths revealed through this channel that they have chosen not to follow. However, I remain hopeful because I trust that God has a plan.
This angel empowers the Loud Cry Message to restore what has been lost in the original Three Angels Messages because no one can change the original messages. This proclamation is "the path high and lifted up," that the 144,000 will be found, with the light of the Midnight Cry behind them." The professors of the SDA seminaries have neutered this prophecy in Revelation 17 and caused discord within the church.
We must be brought together into one mind in prophetic doctrine and filled with the Holy Spirit's power to ripen the harvest.
The Historical Adventist View of the Different Phases of Rome
I want to discuss the meaning of the seven-headed, ten-horned Beast in Revelation 17. Many different SDA factions believe that the seven heads of this Beast represent seven world empires, starting with ancient Assyria or Babylon and ending with the United States of America. However, I have a question: How can one of the heads, also called a king, represent the United States if we do not have a king? Contrary to what most biblical scholars believe, the seven kings in Revelation 17:10-11 could not be the world empires. I have prayerfully considered this and ventured to answer the question 'why' and to detail what God showed me about the meaning.
To understand what the seven heads of the Beast in Revelation 17 symbolize, we must first determine what the Beast represents. In prophetic symbolism, a beast typically signifies political power, a nation, or a kingdom. This is supported by Daniel 7:23, where the last Beast in Daniel's dream is explained by Gabriel as a fourth kingdom that will appear on the earth, different from all the others and devouring the whole world. This Beast represented Pagan Rome, which was the fourth empire following Babylon. It's worth noting that Rome had yet to exist at the time of the vision, making it impossible for anyone to have guessed its identity.
Daniel wrote his book before the time of Christ. Although his prophecies continue to the end of time (Daniel 11-12), most of Daniel's writings prophetically detail what would happen from his day until the day the Messiah would fulfill His sacrifice in 31 AD. John wrote Revelation after Christ, which picks up where Daniel left off historically. It uses the same images as Daniel to prophesy what will happen after the fourth Beast comes into power and all its different phases until the end of time.
The bridge between the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation is Pagan Rome, which was in power at the time John wrote Revelation. Revelation begins with Pagan Rome, the fourth Beast of Daniel 7, in the prophetic timeline of the world. It only mentions past kingdoms in retrospect to provide a parallel perspective for the characteristics of the future Beast. For example, when it says it has "feet LIKE a bear" and "a mouth LIKE a lion," it draws attention to the characteristics of the kingdoms mentioned in Daniel, which are part of the future Roman Beast.
On page 138 of the 'The Great Controversy' by Mrs. E.G. White, we find the following on the first phase of Rome prophesied in Revelation 12...
"The Dragon [of Rev.12:9] is said to be Satan; he it was that moved upon Herod to put the Savior to death. But the chief agent of Satan in making war upon Christ and his people during the first centuries of the Christian era was the Roman Empire, in which paganism was the prevailing religion. Thus, while the Dragon primarily represents Satan, it is in a secondary sense a symbol of Pagan Rome."
This interpretation is the most reasonable and Scriptural view of this matter. It provides a solid understanding of the Dragon Beast of Revelation 12 and will serve as the foundation for the complete argument in the following article. According to this view, the Dragon Beast of Revelation 12 represents the kingdom of Pagan Rome. I question the idea that one of its 'heads' could also represent the Kingdom of 'Rome,' as most modern scholars believe. Using two images in the same sentence to convey the same thing would render the words meaningless and confusing.
Elder James White, Uriah Smith, A.T. Jones, and many other Christians from the United States played a crucial role in establishing the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In his book "Life Incidents," Elder James White mentions that there are different phases of the Roman Beast in Revelation 12 and 13.
"What power is represented by the Beast in Revelation 13? To learn this, we go back to chapter 12, where we find a power symbolized by a great red dragon, the one preceding the Beast of chapter 13. The seven heads and ten horns on both symbols represent two phases of the same power. With the universal consent of Protestant expositors, the Great Red Dragon represents Pagan Rome. The next phase presented by Rome after the Pagan form was the Papal. Rome Papal succeeded Rome Pagan. The Dragon gave his seat, power, and great authority to the Beast. Hence, the Beast (of Rev 13) can represent none other but Papal Rome." {'Life incidents' pg. 242}
Mr. White agrees with most theologians that the Red Dragon of Revelation 12 symbolizes Pagan Rome. He believes that Pagan Rome, through Herod the Great, tried to kill Jesus after He was born in Bethlehem, and through Herod Antipas and Pontius Pilate, condemned Jesus to the cross. Satan, represented by the great Red Dragon, attempted to kill Jesus through the power of Rome. Additionally, he specifically believed that the "seven heads and ten horns" on both beasts in Revelation 12 and 13 indicate that they are two phases of the "same power." Pagan Rome transformed into Papal Rome, and both beasts, characterized by 'seven heads and ten horns,' represent two different phases of Rome.
While most Seventh-Day Adventists would agree with this statement by the logic that leads to other established fundamental beliefs, they do not see the phases of Rome in the beasts having "seven heads and ten horns," and much of the symbolic imagery gets lost in confusion from then on. These individuals need to focus on the historical Adventist understanding of the different phases of Rome. Due to this teaching error, many people have reached entirely different conclusions regarding the seven heads.
Not two phases of Rome, but three …
If the "seven heads and ten horns" of the beasts in Revelation 12 and 13 indicate that they represent two phases of the same power, then it should be clear that the next Beast with seven heads and ten horns in Revelation 17 must represent the next phase of Rome. We should pay attention to the clues for discovery in the end times.
The understanding of the pioneers is crucial for fully grasping this issue. Here is what Elder AT Jones said. (My comment in brackets)
"Now I want you to see, in the twelfth chapter of Revelation (the complete overview of Rome), the three phases of the history of the world, from Christ until now. The first is pagan Rome,—Rome in the time of Christ and the apostles and the early church, with Satan as the inspiration of Rome. From that, the story passed down to another power used against the church. But where is the church at this time when this second power comes in?—in the wilderness. And the Dragon still persecutes the church, and now he casts out a flood after her. In the other, he persecutes her, but in this, he casts out a flood. There is as great a difference between plain persecution and a flood of persecution as there is between the natural stream and the flood: the flood is overwhelming. This is still Rome, but in what form?—It is the apostate church, the form of Christianity inspired by Satan, who was the life of it. And what does this phase of Rome do?—Still by peace it destroys many; always by Rome's peace comes destruction. Then, "the dragon was wroth with the woman." Had he not been wroth with the woman from the first?—Yes, but what now?—He "went to make war with the remnant of her seed." In all this, you see the three phases of history, Satan's three powers against the church, between the first advent of Christ and the second coming. The first was pagan Rome; the second is the apostate church; the third is the power that is used against the remnant. {ARSH June 6, 1899, p. 356.7}
In all my years as a Seventh-Day Adventist, I have never heard any pastor, elder, or evangelist in our church teach these things recently. The church forgot this truth, and God used a lowly layman like me to bring it back to light. The logical progression of the three phases of Rome through history, as prophesied in Revelation, is as follows:
1. The 'seven-headed ten-horned beast' of Revelation 12 provides a complete overview of Rome, emphasizing Pagan Rome.
2. The 'seven-headed ten-horned beast' of Revelation 13 provides a complete overview of Papal Rome, with the main emphasis on Dark Ages Papal Rome from 538 AD until the "head" wound inflicted in 1798 appeared to end it.
3. The 'seven-headed ten-horned beast' of Revelation 17 represents the current revived Papal Rome since the healing of the head wound in 1929 when Mussolini gave the Pope his title of 'king' back in the Lateran Basilica within the seven hills.
In the book of Revelation, the three phases of the Beast represent the evolution of the ultimate Beast. Each phase is characterized by 'seven heads and ten horns,' serving as an identifying trademark. These phases unfold at different times and employ adjusted strategies against God's people, becoming more specific to the era they represent. All three beasts mentioned in Revelation 12, 13, and 17 symbolize different phases of Rome. The meaning of the seven heads and ten horns can be more clearly defined by considering other relevant facts.
What is a 'Head' in prophecy?
"...the controlling power in a state is the head of the state."

The leader of any world power or nation is historically called the 'Head of State,' denoting the individual who leads that power. Therefore, the term 'head' can signify the power itself or the person representing it.
In Daniel 7:6, Greece is represented by four heads. This symbolism is drawn from Greece's historical division after Alexander the Great's death. His empire was divided among his four generals, who established four separate divisions of Greece. Each head represents the generals and the subsequent four divisions. These heads are depicted on a leopard's body, symbolizing Greece.
Can anyone provide another Bible example of referring to an ancient or future beast as the head of another kingdom? Why would God use the term "head" to represent the kingdoms of Babylon, Persia, and Greece, all depicted as beasts, when these heads are part of the third phase of the Roman Beast in Revelation 17?
Scholars need to pay attention to this point: in prophetic language, the body of the Beast is in the same time frame as the Beast's reign in each vision, showing continuity. Therefore, a 'head' on that Beast could not be from a different time than the Beast it is riding. A head cut off from the body is dead, so how could the seven heads on the Roman Beast of Rev 12, 13, or 17 be kingdoms as far back as Assyria or Babylon?"
The Pioneers believed that the seven heads of the Roman beasts were the seven distinct forms of government within the complete scope of the Roman Empire. God showed me that this is correct for the overview of the Beast of Revelation 12, but because, as stated in the same article by Elder Smith, prophecy never continues to talk about long-gone kingdoms for future prophecies, why would Revelation 17 illustrate systems of Roman government long gone before the third phase of Rome's time frame? The seven heads in each phase are examinations of the leadership of Rome through the three stages.
The characteristics of the heads in each of the three phases indicate their scope and position on the timeline. The heads of the Beast in Revelation 12 wear crowns, representing the kingly powers of Rome in seven different forms. The seven heads of the Beast in Revelation 17 have unique characteristics demonstrating their respective reigns' distinctiveness. Then, an eighth head emerges, distinguishing itself as something special.
The Beast of Revelation 12 overviews the Roman Beast from its formation to its end, emphasizing its foundation, Pagan Rome. Therefore, the seven heads of this phase of Rome would prophetically cover all seven future forms of the Roman government.
The Beast of Revelation 13 follows the transfer of power to the seventh form of Roman government, the Papacy, so why would the seven heads still represent all seven forms of Roman government in this phase?
Mrs. White wrote;
"the number seven indicates completeness, and is symbolic of the fact that the messages extend to the end of time..." {Acts of the Apostles 585.3}
In Revelation 13, the heads on the Beast signify the complete number of Papal leaders of Rome's second and third phases after the Papacy takes over the seven hills of Rome. In Revelation 17, the last phase of Rome, the seven heads represent the final seven popes before the eighth, considered the ultimate son of perdition. The meaning of the seven heads evolves based on the biblical concept of 'Repeat and Enlarge.' As we progress through the three phases, the characteristics become clearer, ultimately revealing the final Man of Sin as we approach the end.
Revelation 12 encompasses all seven forms of the Roman government, with the last being the Papal form, which is dealt a deadly wound in Rev 13. Revelation 17 depicts the healing of that wound.
"I saw one of his heads, as it were, wounded to death"
The head wound inflicted on the second phase of the Beast in 1798 provides powerful lessons to help us identify the seven heads in the second and third phases of Rome. "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death..." {Rev 13:3} As Adventists, we understand that this prophecy refers to the end of the papal reign during the Dark Ages. However, why do contemporary pastors ignore this connection, as Mrs. White saw it?
She was on a trip to Valence, France and;
"...looked upon the bust of Pius VI... who was led into captivity and died in captivity. Here was the one marked in history who received the deadly wound. His heart is encased in the marble monument beneath where the bust is located. We felt rather solemn as we looked upon the monument of this man noted in prophecy." Letter 110, 1886, p. 2. (To W. C. White and wife, November 4, 1886.)
Since the last head of the Papal Beast of Revelation 13 was called "this MAN noted in prophecy who received the deadly wound" and given the name Pope Pius VI, who then was the head of the Beast at this time? This prophetic writing validates everything that God has shown me on this subject.
The Beast's "head wound" occurred in 1798 when General Berthier of Napoleon's army took the pope hostage, and he died in exile the following year. This fulfillment of the "man noted in prophecy" was against the last Pope of the second phase of Rome. It proves that the seven heads on the Beast of Revelation 13 represent all the popes of Rome and should be considered when trying to understand the whole meaning of the seven heads of the last phase of Rome in Revelation 17.
Despite clear evidence, the Seventh-day Adventist leadership insists that the seven heads represent all the world kingdoms since Babylon or Assyria. Due to this and other errors, the Latter Rain has yet to come in power.
The Lateran "MOTHER HEAD CHURCH"
Many believe that the Vatican is the seat of the Papacy, but this is not the case. The ARCH-Basilica, meaning the greatest Basilica, which holds the papal throne (seat of the Dragon given by Caesar to the Bishop of Rome), is, in fact, not St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, but St. John the Lateran Basilica located directly in the heart of the seven-hilled, walled "Imperial City" of Rome. The Lateran Basilica is the cathedral church, which houses the Cathedra or ecclesiastical seat of the Roman Pontiff, the SEAT of the Dragon given to the Bishop of Rome.
Constantine I gave the Lateran Palace to the Bishop of Rome, Miltiades. Pope Sylvester I converted the palace into his residence, and eventually, it became the Cathedral of Rome, the seat of the Popes, qua the Bishops of Rome.
Pope Sylvester I presided over the official dedication of the archbasilica and the adjacent Lateran Palace in 324 AD. He declared both to be a "Domus Dei" ("House of God"). The papal Cathedra (Throne) was placed in its interior, making it the cathedral of the Pope.
The front wall of the archbasilica features a plaque with the Latin inscription "Sacrosancta Lateranensis ecclesia omnium urbis et orbis ecclesiarum mater et caput," which translates to "Most Holy Lateran Church, of all the churches in the City and the world, the MOTHER and HEAD." This inscription signifies the archbasilica's claim to be the world's ecumenical "MOTHER CHURCH." How does this relate to the prophecy in Revelation 17?
The Justinian Decree of 536 AD, ratified in 538 AD, declared the emperor as the head of Christianity and the highest priest, the Pontifex Maximus. All of the emperors of Rome had held this title before the popes, including Tiberius Caesar during the time of Christ.
I want to highlight how the office of the Pope fulfills the prophecy of Revelation 13:2, where "the dragon gave him his power, and his SEAT, and great authority." This prophecy is fulfilled inside the Lateran Basilica within the seven-hilled "Imperial City" of Rome, not in St. Peter's Basilica, located "out of" the seven hills of the Servian walled city of Rome.
"In the sixth century, the Papacy had become firmly established. Its SEAT of power was fixed in the imperial city and the bishop of Rome was declared to be the HEAD over the entire church. Paganism had given place to the Papacy. The Dragon had given to the beast "his power, and his seat, and great authority." {Revelation 13:2}. And now began the 1260 years of papal oppression foretold in the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation." Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:5-7. {Great Controversy 54.2}
I want to emphasize that the official "Imperial City" refers to the area of the seven hills surrounded by the Servian Wall. The Vatican is not part of the Seven Hills. If you look at the map, you'll see that the Lateran Basilica is located on the seven hills, while the Vatican is not.
Okay, please try to follow this logic that God showed me.
As Adventists, we regard 538 AD as the beginning of the 1,260-year prophecy, which concluded in 1798. The significance of this date is often overlooked. According to the Great Controversy, the 1,260-year prophecy commenced after the Papacy assumed authority over the seven hills, following Justinian's declaration that the Pope was the HEAD of the Christian church. This decree not only solidified the Pope's authority over the church but also granted civil power, giving them the authority to kill heretics, and this is when the persecution began.
THE POPE WAS DECLARED TO BE THE HEAD, AND THIS BEGAN THE PROPHETIC PERIOD of persecution. Our pastors know this yet argue that the Pope is not the head of the Papal Roman Empire in Revelation 13 or the Revived Papal Roman Empire in Revelation 17.
Conversely, the wound to the head occurred when Napoleon took the Pope hostage from the Lateran Basilica. As a result, he lost his Dragon seat within the seven hills, the title of king, and his mother church. Consequently, Pope Pius VI died in the tower in Valence, France. Is this statement not supported 100% by the Testimonies? Of course it is, yet they claim that Pope Pius VI was not the head that received the deadly wound. Can anyone understand my frustration here?
What would be the starting point for healing the deadly wound? When they recover their precious Lateran Mother Church within the seven hills, they regain their title of king again.
In Revelation 17, the seven heads represent seven hills, and there are seven kings, suggesting that the starting point is the recovery of the seat of the Dragon, which is the Lateran Basilica located within the seven hills. Following this, there would be a succession of seven kings. This interpretation may seem straightforward but is disputed by men within our denomination who claim to understand prophecy. They are arguing against the prophecy itself.
The Harlot Sealed as MOTHER in the Reign of the Sixth King
God directly showed me something else. According to the perspective, when the angel took John in the Spirit to witness, it was during the reign of the Sixth King in Rev 17:10, which would have been in the time of John Paul II. He was alive when the prophet John witnessed the beginning of the Judgment of the living Harlot. At the same time, the sealing with the title "MOTHER OF HARLOTS" took place. The words "judgment" and "sealing" are synonymous. The Papacy had crossed the line, so they were sealed by the angel with the title of MOTHER of those they had persuaded to double-cross God.
The Lateran Church is known as the Ecumenical Church. This title connects with the vision in Revelation 17 because the Daughters return to the Harlot after she is sealed with the title of MOTHER of the other Harlot churches who join with her beginning in the reign of the sixth king, Pope John Paul II. These prophecies are fulfilled as prophesied.
The testimonies suggest that although the Protestants had not entirely separated from Rome, they were blessed by breaking away. Only when they started making agreements and signing ecumenical covenants to unite with the Beast on doctrines could the Protestant churches be considered the daughters of the Papacy.
Isn't it interesting that the first agreement between the Protestant church and the Papacy happened in 1999 when the Lutherans signed the doctrinal deal called the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ) during John Paul II's reign? The Lutherans gave up some of their beliefs, hoping to participate in the Eucharist, which would only be possible if they became Catholics.
After Pope John Paul II signed the agreement, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, who later became Pope Benedict XVI, stated in a letter to bishops worldwide that referring to other Christian churches as "sister churches" of the Catholic Church was inaccurate. He described the term as "sloppy terminology" and emphasized it could not be used to characterize Christian communities not in communion with Rome. The Cardinal stressed that it should always be evident that the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic universal church is not the sister but the Mother of all the churches.
"Babylon is said to be "the mother of harlots." By her daughters must be symbolized churches that cling to her doctrines and traditions, and follow her example of sacrificing the truth and the approval of God in order to form an unlawful alliance with the world. The message of Revelation 14 announcing the fall of Babylon must apply to religious bodies that were once pure and have become corrupt. Since this message follows the warning of the Judgment, it must be given in the last days, therefore it cannot refer to the Romish Church, for that church has been in a fallen condition for many centuries. Furthermore, in the eighteenth chapter of the Revelation, in a message which is yet future, the people of God are called upon to come out of Babylon. According to this scripture, many of God's people must still be in Babylon. And in what religious bodies are the greater part of the followers of Christ now to be found? Without doubt, in the various churches professing the Protestant Faith. At the time of their rise, these churches took a noble stand for God and the truth, and His blessing was with them. Even the unbelieving world was constrained to acknowledge the beneficent results that followed an acceptance of the principles of the gospel. In the words of the prophet to Israel, "Thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord God." But they fell by the same desire which was the curse and ruin of Israel,—the desire of imitating the practices and courting the friendship of the ungodly. "Thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown." GC88 382.3 Many of the Protestant churches are following Rome's example of iniquitous connection with "the kings of the earth;" the State churches, by their relation to secular governments, and other denominations by seeking the favor of the world. And the term Babylon—confusion—may be appropriately applied to these bodies, all professing to derive their doctrines from the Bible, yet divided into almost innumerable sects, with widely conflicting creeds and theories. GC88 383.1
In a vision, God showed me that the Lutherans' signing of the JDDJ in 1999 was a significant moment because it officially sealed the Harlot with the title of MOTHER during the reign of the sixth king, John Paul II. Since then, almost every other Protestant and Orthodox church in the world has signed its own version of this agreement.
The Harlot and Her Daughters: Pornē
I was doing a word study on the Text of Revelation 17:5, and this discovery stopped me in my tracks.
"And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
First, it's important to note that this is the first instance of ALL CAPS in the history of literature. It was written this way in every uncorrupted Bible manuscript to ensure we wouldn't miss the timeframe and intent of the passage. This message would begin when this sealing or judgment began, when the Protestants signed the ecumenical agreement giving up their birthright.
Next, when the sealing of the Harlot took place, this prophecy began. The Lutherans signed the JDDJ in 1999 during the reign of the sixth king, John Paul II, just as prophesied, the beginning of the fulfillment of all other end-time prophecies. It's important to note that this is not about setting a specific time but rather about the progression of the timeline based on fulfillment.
Why does it appear that am I still the only person who knows this? Others have elements of this teaching (thank you, Jesus, for men like Jean Ross from Amazing Facts), but God showed this to me in a vision on 9/11, and I have been teaching it in this complete form since 2001.
The Greek word used for "Harlot" here is πόρνη (pornē), which is where the English word "Porn" comes from. Now, let's look at the entry for this word in the Strongs Concordance.
They say the word "Harlot" is a metaphor for Rome, the seat of the Papal Roman Church with the Pope at its head. Tell me that the Protestant Reformers didn't know who the Harlot was. SMH.
Only the Papacy and Protestants are Mentioned
“In the seventeenth of Revelation is foretold the destruction of all the CHURCHES who corrupt themselves by idolatrous devotion to the service of the PAPACY, those who have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication... thus is represented the PAPAL power...What is it that gives its kingdom to this power? Protestantism, a power which while professing to have the temper and spirit of a lamb, and to be allied to heaven, speaks with the voice of a dragon. It is moved by a power from beneath. THIS IS THE MESSAGE SATAN WOULD HAVE SILENCED.” {Lt232-1899 November 10, 1899 par. 23}
What is alarming is that the individuals attempting to suppress this message are the leaders whom God instructed me to contact within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Take a moment to consider that.
Please show me where Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, or Greece are in this quote. They are not here. Every time the Testimonies quote Revelation Chapter 17, it only ever mentions the Papacy (seven heads) and the Protestants (Ten Horns).
The Ten Horns refer to the confederacy of Satan's forces, who unite with the Papacy to enforce the Mark of the Beast and establish the Image of the Beast in the United States. They reached their hands across the abyss in 1999. God began withdrawing His protection from the United States during the reign of the Sixth King, JPII, and 9/11 was the result." I have a lot of information to share on these subjects. I could write several books about this matter. I want to make sure you have all the information. If you want to know more, I will gladly share. Let me reveal a few more things about what God has shown me regarding the Eighth King, Pope Francis the Jesuit, and what he has done since he gained office.
The Beast that was… Reincarnate
When Pope Francis was elected, I heard God speak to me again. I listened to a news program on the radio stating that Pope Francis is "the first Jesuit Pope" and "the first from outside Europe." At that moment, I felt the Holy Spirit guiding me to the prophecy of the eighth king in Revelation 17:11, which also relates to these two characteristics. The Holy Spirit immediately connected the established understandings in my mind, as if the pattern was speaking with the voice of God.
The text says the eighth king is "The beast that was…" Pope Francis fulfilled this prophecy by being the first Jesuit Pope. The Jesuits were the "teeth of the Beast" during the Dark Ages. Banished from Europe after that time, Pope John Paul II reintegrated them after they reluctantly accepted his efforts to reorganize them, bringing them under his control. Bergoglio was one of the first Jesuits brought back to Rome. Below is an image of that meeting.
Pope Francis, being a Jesuit, also fulfills the second part of that prophecy, "and out of the seven he is." The Jesuits settled in Argentina and other places worldwide after they were banished from Europe by the world powers. As stated, they returned to Rome under the reign of John Paul II. See the pattern here?
The Greek word 'ek' in verse 11 is translated as "of" or "out of" in most Bible translations. According to Young's Concordance, 'ek' actually describes as ‘reestablishing something that was once part of the body’ and is one of the most under-translated and, therefore, mistranslated words in the Bible. The Concordance suggests that "out from and to" might be the correct translation, which fits perfectly with the healing of the deadly wound aspect and the reinstatement of the Jesuits to Rome after their banishment. This aligns with the prophecy, especially considering that this reinstatement happened during the reign of the one who "is", John Paul II.
Here is another point to consider. When I share these things with most SDA theologians, one of the first things they tend to ask is, how could Pope Francis be "of the seven" previous kings'? Why do they always assume that being restored to the 'seven' suggests the seven previous kings? The first thing addressed in the text is the SEVEN HILLS, which is the geographical location of Rome. Pope Francis is from "out of" Rome. He is from the Americas, restored as a Jesuit to Rome, the City of Seven Hills. This prophecy could not have been more perfectly fulfilled.
Pope Francis restored the power of the horrible Beast of the Dark Ages after Pope John Paul II restored the Jesuit order to Rome, and Francis was elected Pope. How simple.
PERINDE AC CADAVER (LIKE A CORPSE)
In Matthew 24, the disciples asked Jesus what the sign would be before the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of time. Jesus combined the two events: the destruction of Jerusalem, which happened in 70 AD when the Roman armies attacked it, and the end of the world, which will be fulfilled by the armies of modern-day Rome. He concluded by saying, "Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather," which is a sign of the reign of the last king of Rome.
The King James Version reads, "For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles gather together." The word here used for 'carcass' never has any other meaning but that of a human 'corpse' or lifeless human body in scripture. In roughly half of the bible translations, this word translates as "corpse," not carcass.
The Jesuits' pledge of loyalty to the Pope includes their motto, "perinde ac cadaver," Latin for "as if a corpse," symbolizing their willingness to obey the Pope's will. The Catholic Church now has a corpse as its head.
Notice also that Jesus didn't say where the corpses are in the plural but "where the corpse is," using the singular form of the word. He only mentioned one corpse, the definitive "man of sin." Therefore, a Jesuit priest outside the Seven Hills has become "king," fulfilling this prophecy.
"The Testimonies" claim that Rome was the "eagle" foretold by Moses to destroy Jerusalem, "swift as the eagle flieth." The United States became the eagle, or the army of Rome when John Paul II asked Ronald Reagan to use the US's power to overthrow the USSR in the 1980s. I personally witnessed them meet in Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1984.
During the Dark Ages, the Jesuits, acting on behalf of the Papacy, persecuted and executed tens of millions of people who refused to surrender their Textus Receptus-based Bibles or did not conform to the teachings of the papal see. Now that the Pope is a Jesuit, an order dedicated to undermining the Protestant Faith, it is evident that there has been a more determined effort in that regard. Recent meetings between the Pope and Protestant leaders, where they declared, "The protest is over," provide evidence.
Again, I urge the Seventh-day Adventist Church to recognize that this is the Papal Roman leader that Jesus predicted would be the final one. He is the "CORPSE," the sign of the end. (Matthew 24:28)
"Where the CORPSE is, there the eagle will gather."
This Papal visit to the Joint session of the US Congress in 2015 was a significant event leading to the establishment of the National Sunday law, also known as the Mark of the Beast.

The Beast with two horns, symbolizing civil and religious liberty, spoke like the dragon by inviting Pope Francis to address the world from the United States Congress, where our nation "speaks" by creating laws.
In 2013, the US honored him with a bill for being the ‘first Jesuit Pope’ and the ‘first to come from outside’ Europe. Therefore, they congratulated him on fulfilling the prophecy of the eighth king of Revelation 17:11.

The Fourth Vow
On October 24, 2016, Pope Francis visited the 36th Jesuit General Congregation in Rome. In his speech to the leaders of the Jesuits GC, he made two alarming statements that reveal his true agenda in allowing numerous issues to be overlooked within the Catholic church.
He urged the Jesuits to follow him as commanded in their "fourth vow," which includes the text "Perinde ac Cadaver," meaning to be as obedient as a corpse to the will of the Pope. Many Catholics deny the existence of this vow, yet here, he is referencing the supposedly non-existent pledge.
He stated that freeing itself from the concrete constraints of past restrictions in the church "frees the society (Jesuits) from all that paralyzes it." He then emphasized that the "formula of the institute" is "necessary and substantial," asserting that "the nature of this institute is the pathway to God." He mentioned that the companions of Ignatius Loyola (who regularly met in the crypt of St. Denis to hallucinate and develop spiritual exercises) discovered this pathway, and he stressed that "those who would follow us on this pathway" must vow obedience to the Pope, as they have a "clearer direction from the Holy Spirit."
"By their treatment of His Word, the popes have exalted themselves above the God of heaven. This is the reason that in prophecy, the papal power is specified as the "man of sin." Satan is the originator of sin. The power that he causes to alter any one of God's holy precepts is the man of sin. Under Satan's special direction the papal power has done this very work. Although those standing at the HEAD OF THE PAPACY claim to have great love for God, He looks upon them as haters of Him. They have turned the truth of God into a lie. Tampering with God's commandments and placing in their stead human traditions, is the work of Satan, and will divorce the religious world from God; for He declares, "I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me." God will fulfill this word. "Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Pharaoh sowed obstinacy, and reaped obstinacy. He himself put this seed into the soil. There was no more need for God by some new power to interfere with its growth, than there is for Him to interfere with the growth of a grain of corn. All that is required is that a seed shall be left to germinate and spring up to bring forth fruit after its kind. The harvest reveals the kind of seed that has been sown. 2SAT 182.5
How many quotes can Seventh-day Pastors provide from the Testimonies that support their teaching of the seven heads? I am still looking for even one quote calling Babylon the HEAD of the Beast. I can provide seven quotes proving that the POPE is the HEAD of the Beast. Yet they ignore these quotes. How abusive.
"When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power (JDDJ 1999), when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with Spiritualism (Toronto Blessing, etc), when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near.—Testimonies for the Church 5:451 (1885). LDE 131.4
"As we approach the last crisis, it is vital for harmony and unity to exist among the Lord's instrumentalities. The world is filled with storms, war, and variance. Yet UNDER ONE HEAD—THE PAPAL POWER—the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. This union is cemented by the great apostate."—Testimonies for the Church 7:182 (1902). LDE 131.5
When I received a vision of Jesus asking God to hold back the four winds during 9/11, I saw that God granted His request, signaling the start of a period of relative peace. It was during this time that the 144,000 began to be sealed. Now, we are approaching the end of this peaceful period and are anticipating a more significant escalation than what occurred during 9/11.
"I was shown the inhabitants of the earth in the utmost confusion. war, bloodshed, privation, want, famine, and pestilence were abroad in the land. As these things surrounded God's people, they began to press together, and to cast aside their little difficulties. Self-dignity no longer controlled them; deep humility took its place. Suffering, perplexity, and privation caused reason to resume its throne, and the passionate and unreasonable man became sane, and acted with discretion and wisdom. My attention was then called from the scene. There seemed to be a little time of peace (since 9/11/2001, we have been in this time of the holding of the four winds). Once more the inhabitants of the earth were presented before me; and again everything was in the utmost confusion. Strife, war, and bloodshed, with famine and pestilence, raged everywhere. Other nations were engaged in this war and confusion. war caused famine. Want and bloodshed caused pestilence. And then men's hearts failed them for fear, "and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth." 1T 268.2
Lightning Speed to Perdition
In a recent interview, Pope Francis, the Jesuit, used language that closely resembled the vision described by Mrs. White in Early Writings. This sign confirms my belief that he is the last Pope who will bring about the Mark of the Beast as described in Revelation 17.
In "Early Writings," there is a supplemental chapter called "An Explanation." This chapter explains the meaning of several of God's visions to Mrs. White, particularly about the "wrapping," which refers to communicating with the dead. It also provides commentary on Mrs. White's vision of Pope Francis.
"I saw the rapidity with which this delusion was spreading (speaking to demons impersonating the dead). I was shown a train of cars going at the SPEED OF LIGHTNING. The angel bade me look carefully. I fixed my eyes upon the train. It seemed that the whole world was on board, that there could not be one left. Said the angel, "They are binding in bundles ready to burn." Then he showed me the conductor, who appeared like a stately, fair person, whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced. I was perplexed and asked my attending angel who it was. He said, "It is Satan. He is the conductor in the form of an angel of light. He has taken the world captive. They are given over to strong delusions, to believe a lie, that they may be damned. This agent, the next highest in order to him, is the engineer, and other of his agents are employed in different offices as he may need them, and they are all going with lightning speed to perdition." {EW 88.2}
Consider this: Pope Francis is becoming more influential than John Paul II. The world is paying attention to him, and he is quickly becoming a leader in guiding people to venerate the deceased by dedicating the world to Mary and canonizing more individuals than any other pope within the same timeframe.
Here are some critical points regarding this vision that I have seen.
In the vision, God showed her that "the whole world was on board, and there could not be one left." Later, in the same vision, she saw the remnant on a path heading in the opposite direction, that their victory was nearly won, so this vision MUST be a summation of end-time events.
The conductor appeared as a "stately fair person whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced," which fits perfectly with the Pope, who receives reverence from even world leaders, but especially Pope Francis, the first pope ever permitted to speak from the US Congress.
"Lightning speed to PERDITION." Revelation 17:11 prophesies that the Eighth King goeth into PERDITION. Pope Francis is the eighth papal king since the healing of the head wound in 1929 when they regained their civil sovereignty and became an independent nation once again. When the seventh king, Pope Benedict XVI, retired on the anniversary of that Lateran Treaty, lightning struck St Peter's Basilica twice, ushering in the time of the eighth king who will lead the world with "lightning speed to perdition."
Pope Francis said, "This system, with its relentless logic of profit, is escaping all human control. It is time to slow the locomotive down, an OUT-OF-CONTROL LOCOMOTIVE HURTLING TOWARDS THE ABYSS." Perdition is also called the "abyss".
Does anyone else see the parallels? God told me to look for this exact subject during the reign of the Eighth King. Pope Francis, the eighth king of Revelation 17:11, was ushered in by lightning and is leading the world with lightning speed to perdition. He is the first Jesuit pope, the CORPSE (Jesuit perinde ac cadaver), who Jesus said would be the sign of the soon second coming.
The whole world is on board that train and picking up speed.

Major publications call for the world to turn to Pope Francis for intervention, saying he is the "Ultimate world leader." Everything that God showed me in my vision is coming true, yet the leaders of the SDA Church refuse to test God's message. They do not realize there cannot be two interpretations of the same prophecy. Either what He showed me is true, or their disjointed interpretation of Revelation is correct. So, if they are so adamant, why will they not publicly reason with me on this issue? I have been pleading with them for years.
Laudato Si; Mary the MOTHER of All Creation
Laudato Si says that Mary is OMNISCIENT, the "MOTHER & QUEEN OF ALL CREATION".
Mary is in the grave awaiting the resurrection, but this is the document all religions agree to. This concept is the essence of Spiritualism. Here is a quote from Laudato Si, written in 2015 by Pope Francis, the eighth king of Revelation 17:11, directly from the Vatican archive.
VIII. QUEEN OF ALL CREATION
241. Mary, the Mother who cared for Jesus, now cares with maternal affection and pain for this wounded world. Just as her pierced heart mourned the death of Jesus, so now she grieves for the sufferings of the crucified poor and for the creatures of this world laid waste by human power. Completely transfigured, she now lives with Jesus, and all creatures sing of her fairness. She is the Woman, “clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars” (Rev 12:1). Carried up into heaven, SHE IS THE MOTHER AND QUEEN OF ALL CREATION. In her glorified body, together with the Risen Christ, PART OF CREATION HAS REACHED THE FULNESS OF ITS BEAUTY. She treasures the entire life of Jesus in her heart (cf. Lk 2:19,51), and NOW UNDERSTANDS THE MEANING OF ALL THINGS. Hence, we can ask her to enable us to look at this world with eyes of wisdom.
Calling for Sunday (Law) Reverence
Pope claims the Lateran Church as His HEADquarters
I was directed by the Spirit directly to this NCRegister article, which perfectly illustrates what God has taught me since 2007.
Quote;
"Pope Francis has chosen to emphasize the role of the Bishop of Rome from the beginning, repeatedly using that title in his first addresses after his election in March 2013. (No other pope since 1798 had done this)
Over the last year, the Holy Father has introduced another subtle change that prioritizes his role as Bishop of Rome.
The recent document on establishing new religious congregations, Authenticum Charismatis, was signed in this fashion:
"Given at the Lateran, on November 1, 2020, the Solemnity of All Saints, the eighth year of my Pontificate."
That's standard for all official papal documents — they are signed with a place, date, and the year of the pontificate. What's new is that Pope Francis is now signing documents from the Lateran instead of from the Vatican.
The recent apostolic letter for the beatification of Blessed Michael McGivney, the establishment of the Sunday for the Word of God (September 2019), the post-synodal exhortation Querida Amazonia (February 2020) and the apostolic letter for the 1600th anniversary of the death of St. Jerome (September 2020) were all signed from the Lateran. That article illustrated why their claim to the title of Bishop of Rome and the re-establishment of the Lateran Church as the pontifical seat is essential. They can see it, yet you guys can't?
I could talk endlessly about how this Pope fulfills every aspect of what we, as Adventists, were told to look for in the last days. For decades, God has slowly taught me who the HEAD of the Papal Beast of Revelation 13 and 17 is. I will be praying and meditating on His scripture and the Testimonies, and consistently, He inspires me to receive new insights, which has happened hundreds of times.
One significant aspect emphasized the importance of the "Mother Head Church" of the Papacy, their greatest ARCH-Basilica called St. John's Lateran. This Basilica is right in the heart of the seven hills of Rome. The Vatican is not on those seven hills but across the Tiber River. It is where they resided in defiance for over a hundred years, awaiting the opportunity to reclaim their MOTHER HEAD CHURCH.
Napoleon took Pope Pius VI in chains from the Lateran Basilica as a prisoner in 1798. Pope Francis is the first pope to claim this Basilica as his headquarters since that day.
And just as they insisted that the Lutherans sign the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ, 1999) on the anniversary of the day that Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the church in Wittenberg on October 31, they also demanded that Mussolini reinstate their ownership of the Lateran Basilica.
As I reflected on these matters, I received a revelation from God. He showed me the phrase "MOTHER OF HARLOTS" in all capital letters in the seventeenth chapter of Revelation and instances where they referred to themselves as the Mother Church. God instructed me to visit the Vatican archives and study how frequently they use this term. Based on my research, this terminology has been extensively used throughout their history, being mentioned over three thousand times in the online Vatican archives.
Pope Francis's insistence on the re-establishment of his role as 'the Bishop of Rome' and the Lateran Basilica (Mother Head Church) within the seven hills as the headquarters of the Bishop of Rome is seen by me as very Biblically prophetic and only the truly wise will understand why.
The Beast's seven heads in Revelation 17 represent seven hills and seven kings. Then there is an eighth, who reestablishes the power of the Beast of the Dark Ages. Pope Francis is the eighth papal king since they regained the Lateran Mother Head Church, and he also reclaimed it as the seat of the Papacy last year.
When Pope Francis was elected in 2013, God told me that he was the "stately fair person the world looks up to in reverence" who would lead the world with "lightning speed to PERDITION," as Mrs. White wrote in Early Writings, page 88.2. He is also the Eighth pope since the 1929 Lateran Treaty.
Revelation 17:11 says the eighth king "goeth into PERDITION," precisely like Mrs. White's 'lightning speed to perdition' vision prophesied.
Since 1994, I have testified that God gave me a dream of disembarking a train heading to perdition, similar to Mrs. White's dream, which I had not yet read at the time of my dream. Now, Pope Francis, the conductor, uses almost the exact words.
I pray every day for the Pastors of our denomination to wake up from their lethargy. I do not wish harm upon anyone, even the ones who have been persecuting me for the past almost thirty years. I only want to see the outpouring of the Latter Rain, which will not fall until we are all of one accord in doctrine.
